October 1, 1931 - December 10, 2009 UPDATE: Mom's suffering has ceased and she's now at peace. Love you momma I just wanted to let you all know that I haven't forgotten you but my mom was diagnosed with cancer and I have been taking care of her. I'm still in braids - nothing new and probably will be for awhile. You all keep growing and when things break - you know a sisters got your back. Thanks for your prayers & keep growing. Braids & bantu twist out OCT 08 I have just found out that I wasn't doing a traditional bantu, but coil twist knot. LOL Who knew :\ I twist my hair like I'm doing coils then twist that into a bantu knot. To Chop or Not to Chop?/MT Challenge (May 1, 2008) **********UPDATE********** Dec 08 Well I stopped using Megatek around the last week of Nov. It keeps my new growth soft and as a conditioner, great ... growth aid it was just ok for me. So back to my own mixes and I still haven't relaxed or cut yet - will update that at the end of the month or Jan 09. ------------------------------------------------------ 8-10 yrs ago I was all natural and now I'm missing it. So I'm thinking about cheating my way back. No Big Chop, but the longest relaxer stretch in the history of man. :) The plan - keep it natural until natural reaches armpit then chop.
