Cosmetic Achievements The Good, The Bad, The Ugly - I think I am somewhat an authority on this because, as a young teen i was absolutely OPPRESSED by the images I saw in magazines. They killed my self-esteem and I thought if I could just put my eye makeup on correctly I would be happy in life. (lol) I studied fashion mags like i was earning a PhD in makeup! The magazines always made me feel bad about myself, but like any abusive relationship, it was VERY difficult habit for me to break. I finally did stop buying them, but I still flip through them every month. In the process, I did learn a lot about makeup application through observation.
