- I made it to the one year mark. In retrospect, I am still glad that I loc'd. I still wish that I had reset the locs at the crown because the big parts with my fine hair leaves lots of scalp on display sometimes but I think about that less and less. All in all...I am pleased.

- Well, I'm officially in the loc family or at least have submitted my application. I started my with professionally done two strand twists and am sitting, and watching, and thinking...can I make it? Wondering what people think about the size of my sections, the ABUNDANT scalp showing (I hate it), and the likely size of the locs when they mature. Discuss...

- I made it to my 10th month on 11/09. I can't believe that it got so easy...and am very pleased at the same time. I still wonder about how fine my locs are - not a lot of fluff on top but I love my babies.

- Just got my 5 week update. That shampoo felt like the first shot of a very addictive drug. So, I got a few of my biggest sections reduced and now I am a happy camper. My stylist is pleased and my little babies are starting to bond. I feel so content...
