- Ally Murray died on Friday the 13th after a short illness. I first met Aly in 1988 when I worked at Lucas in Aberdeen & he worked for Motherwell Bridge, he originally worked for Charles Alexander, Gray Plant Hire, Motherwell Bridge & then he started on his own & 12yrs ago he joined Dennis Morrison to form M & M Autos in Muggiemoss using Grampian Int Frieght,s workshop. He worked 7 days a week & rarely had days off apart from Vintage Rallies & Truckfest,s he went on Vintage Road Runs & was the first to help with any breakdown,s in rain snow or sunshine. His only hobbies were collecting models & photos of Lorries.
