- Here are pictures of my locs...I started them the friday after Thanksgiving 2006...
I am feeling much better about this second set of locs. I think there is really something to doing them yourself. This time I started them myself and have been maintaining them myself, rather than going to a salon. I plan to go to a salon when they are about a year old. Yup!

| Please do NOT copy my pictures... | - Updates!!! May 2006--September 2006
- I've been gone for a lil' while but here are some updates!! (a condensed version)
I have just relocated to Syracuse, NY and started a master's program, so my hair has not been getting as much attention as I would like to give it...which may be a good thing because it needs to rest.
This album starts with my locs (single strand twists or coils) that were put in professionally in May at a shop called Atajmil in Philadelphia. I kept the locs in the entire summer and took them out in August...it was locing up quite nicely, but I was really missing my big hair. I will try the locs again though.
The rest of the pictures are Afros, Twists, and Braids. It is already beginning to cool off and feel like winter, so I am hoping to find funding to get some kinky twists or micros for the winter. Yup, that's all. Thanks for stopping by! Also shoot me a note if you are anywhere near Syracuse or in Central New York, maybe we can talk hair sometime!
