Sweet Nature by Eddie After suffering severe hair loss and searching for products to help regrow her hair without any success, Eddie decided to formulate her own product line; Sweet Nature by Eddie. She has also authored a guide on growing healthy hair and conducts free hair care workshops where she educates Black women on how to grow and maintain healthy hair. Eddie writes hair care articles for three online magazines and has been promoted to a Platinum Author for the quality of her articles. She was named the female entrepreneur of the 1990’s and she has been accepted to the Who’s Who in North America business directory for her work in the industry. Star Treatment Latisha got her love for fashion design from her Mother, Eloise Mayweather-Harris, while watching her make clothes when she was a kid. She became known for her creativity and designs while in high school, which lead her to pursue an Associate’s Degree at Davenport University in Fashion Merchandising 1994. Shortly after graduating high school, Latisha began designing clothes for the local talent shows her mother and Aunt Jackie Mayweather put on; she was also recruited by her cousin Floyd Mayweather Jr. to design and make all of his boxing attire, which he became well known for. While planning her wedding Latisha had a hard time finding the perfect dresses and wedding décor, so she made all of her bridesmaid’s dresses as well as customized her floral arrangements and centerpieces. During this time, Latisha realized her love for wedding design and planning and has incorporated this into her repertoire. She helps to bring couples visions to life or help to create a vision for their wedding. She began her career in middle school when she would experiment with different hair styles on her friends and family. By the time she was in high school, her appointment book was filled. After high school Turquayia went on to graduate from Chic University and currently is a traveling beautician. Turquayia doesn’t just “do” hair, but she designs hair styles to fit an individual’s personality. Combined with her love for hair design; she also has a love for fashion design. Turquayia’s unique and creative fashion vision led her to design all of her own dresses for her high school formal dances and eventually for her peers.
