- What a memorable year 09 was! Ive been forced to learn so much about myself... my destiny... my spirituality... relationships... and accepting the reality and necessity of change. When i cut my hair the first time it marked a new chapter in my life. After the year Ive had, its definitely time to let go and let God! Time to turn the page and start anew, time to refresh and reboot my life..lol.. I cut it again for the much needed energy change and a fresh start. It represents my rebirth and second chance. Ive been forced to strip down to my core and start from scratch. Ive learned the the power of letting go and the beauty of starting fresh. Its a new day, time for a new me :-)

| THOU SHALT NOT TOUCH!!! | - Redemption Songs
- My main project at the moment is completing my first official collection – called Redemption Songs. I came up with the soundtrack of my life - 24 tracks (for my 24 years :-). Each of these songs holds a special place in my heart and I’m creating my visual interpretation for each one on my mix (first 12 tracts represent my life story and quest for liberation, second 12 represent my love story and search for happiness). I’m really excited about it, and can’t wait to see it completed. The goal is to have it done by my birthday (12/26/09)… But anybody that knows me, knows I am the definition of procrastination, so we’ll see how that works out ;-)
I’ll keep ya’ll posted on my progress.

Haven't updated in forever; don't even know where to start!
Not much to report on my hair though :-/... December 24, 2008 I celebrated my 3 year nappiversary! I haven't been taking care of it at all! :-( Working 2 jobs and trying to start your own business can be pretty time consuming :-) lol. My ends are in desperate need of a trim, and I cant tell you when was the last time I deep conditioned it. Surprisingly it is still very strong and seems to be growing... All I've been doing is conditioner washing every 2-3 days, and using a leave in conditioner and whatever random moisturizer I jus happen to pick up that morning... I finally tried the Kinky- Curly products (curling custard and knot today) and I loved em!!! Ran out and just haven't had a chance to reorder, but a definite “A+ and a thousand gold stars”! (LOL.. Shouts out to Dr. Frances Cress Welsing and my sista Neisha :-)
I have been more inspired and focused in the past few weeks than I have in the past 24 years! In the beginning of April I went to the annual Ankobea Society's Sankofa Conference, in DC. It was one of the most incredible and life changing experiences I've ever had! Since that time my mind has been on another level completely and I still cant find the words to express it. I am so fired up and passionate about liberating my mind and those of my people; and ultimately fulfilling my purpose and living up to my full potential. In the past few weeks I've started doing yoga, stopped eating meat, and started living a healthier lifestyle. Finally started developing my talent and fulfilling my passion. I’ve found direction in my life and a plan on how to achieve my goals; and more importantly, I have finally stopped talking about and started making steps toward achieving my goals.
'08 was definitely an interesting year for me. New Years night I declared it to be MY year, and indeed it was. I was finally out of school, and out on my own in “the real world”. I saw this year as my foundation and decided to develop a “plan of action” for the rest of my life. After watching The Secret for the 100th time :-) I sat down and thought about every aspect of myself I wanted to improve on {physically, mentally, spiritually, creatively, personally, professionally, and financially}. From there I thought about my goals in each and listed what I need to do to achieve them. As the year went on, I continued to update and add to it. I ended up adding a section for the reasons why I should step up. My plan was to frame it and put it in a spot where I'd see it everyday. Needless to say we are five months into the next year and its still not done!...lol.
I'm sick of planning! '09 is my year for ACTION! Top of my '09 To Do List – is to start doing more art work. I've finally started working on my first collection! I've been thinking about it for the longest and its so exciting to see it coming together. I came up with the soundtrack of my life and decided to make my visual interpretation of each song. (I'm 24 years old... 24 tracks on my mix... and 24 works in progress :-) My goal is to have it completed by the end of this year. I look forward to updating you guys on my progress :-)
Other than that jus been working like crazy (doctor's office monday – thursday (8-4); rehab center – friday/ saturday (7p-7a)... Overall jus trying to sane and centered in these crazy times :-)...lol

- Turning off my TV is one of the first steps I am taking to liberate my mind. The time I would have spent watching mindless foolishness on TV, I now spend finding ways and to enlighten my mind and uplift my spirit. This section is a compilation documentaries, interviews, and speeches. Instead of being sucked into watching stupid “reality shows” I now watch things that will help me perfect my reality.
