- I cut my perm out of my hair back in April 2008. I am new to the whole natural process and hope to learn more and recieve input on how I can manage my new and improved look. It feels good to go back to my roots. My hair hasn't felt this thick and healthy in a long time!

- My DH started his natural journey in 2006. I must say he really inspired me to go natural. Watching his hair grow and transform really wowed me. Now after 2 years his hair is below his neckline. He started locs about 7 months ago and many in the back have already started to loc.

- I don't miss the flat irons, curling irons, and blow dryers. I don't miss not being able to swim cause I don't want to get my hair wet or having frizzy hair after sweating it out at the club or the gym. I don't miss it at all!
