- Early March I got these twists and endeavour to keep them for as long as possible hopefully 2 and a half months but realistically over one month as I have been told is more likely....they took 6 hours to do but only because my mum and i were learning how to do them on YouTube at the same time! I also cut loads off my real hair approx 4 inches before putting them in a week or so before but i can still put my hair in a ponytail making it easier for me to do different styles etc. I will also be using half wigs this year to completely cut out the bodywaved ends

- Yes yes back to this old story again...will I ever learn? I hope so...I am loving my natural curls again in the meantime . These pics were taken the day AFTER a full wash (I dont use hairdryers so it was moist), then moisturized with leave in conditioner and W.I Castor oil mixed with water in spray bottle, then moiturized in individual sections with West Indian Castor Oil at the scalp, then I applied copious amounts of Eco Styler with Argan Oil. It dried naturally overnight with silk scarf and was ready to go in the a.m

| | - MARCH-APRIL 2011 UPDATE
- Ok ok...so I suck...I got a Body Wave in my hair in the end as I consistently struggled trying to put my hair back in one with great stress and pain and was really really late for work and so I got fed up as I DID NOT want to use heat to blow it out neither - I just used IC Gel (I cant get Aunt Bessy's etc over here except for on Ebay/Amazon which is too expensive and rare to come across). When frustrated I don't take time doing my hair which could be damaging to my ends long term...not the best!!!
I booked into the Salon to get it done as I remembered years ago that this type of Bodywax texlax really made my hair grow longer than ever, fast, whilst also being quite thick and healthy - without being as harsh and harmful as relaxer which I MOST DEFINATELY WILL NEVER EVER PUT IN MY HAIR AGAIN after having so many bad experiences yadayadayada...anywho I love this Body Wave as it has softened my hair and stretched out my curl and it is still quite thick and full (I remember that it will actually get much thicker looking too after a while, but it has just been done in these pics so watch my update pics).
I also got it trimmed which was much needed.
It didn't burn at all whilst it was being put on and whilst i waited - lemme know what you think...I kinda guilty that I didnt last the distance with my 100% beautiful afro natural hair after all, but i'm a busy morning worka kinda girl :( - Album was created 1 year 2 months ago and modified 1 year ago

| | - My hair's out!!!! With a little IC help....1st ever CO-WASH
- I did my first ever 'Co-wash' I had no clue what it was until I heard Fotki and Youtube sisters talking about it and showing how to do it....so here are my first ever results. I found that it did feel a little softer and a less dry than when I washed it with shampoo. I was hoping my hair would be extremely conditioned, shiny and moist, but it wasn't.
I think the more I do co-washes, the better my hair will be, hence the look will be hopefully feeling more moisturised etc.. Also I took it out of weave and this was the second time of washing my hair, so maybe it was still dry because of being in conrows for so long (approx 2 months) whist in the weave etc.
I'll try my next co-wash this week and see if it has made or if i can see any difference...
UPDATE: I didn't have time to do one again and have just put in my new holiday weave...i'll try again next time - Album was created 1 year 9 months ago and modified 1 year 9 months ago
