Companies 16-19-24 & R.I.T-03 were disp'd to 1030 Yeadon ave for the dwelling fire. Med-16 arrived reporting heavy smoke showing from the rear and pushing from the eaves of a 2 stry twin. Eng-24 went in svc w/ an 1" 3/4 handline through the front of the dwelling and dropped a 3" supply line from the hydrant conveniently placed ifo the fire dwelling. Crews from eng-16 went in svc through the rear and truck-19 went in svc w/ truck ops. Shortly after 19:00Hrs companies 06-42 & R.I.T were disp'd, to the above address for the dwelling fire. Upon arrival 42-12(Fish) took command and reported smoke showing from the 2nd floor of a 2 stry SFD and placed 1 line in svc. Crews made a fast knock on the bulk of the fire. 601 Poplar, Bldg Fire w/ Entrapment

Shortly after 22:00hrs companies 9-5 & 1 were disp'd to 601 Poplar for the bldg fire. 09-9(Bennecke) was on scene within minutes reporting heavy fire showing from the 2nd fl. apt. 09-9 took CMD and put out the alert for possible entrapment in the fire dwelling. Crews from 09-2 went in svc w/ 1" 3/4 handline making an aggressive interior attack and with assistance from truck crews from 05 started the primary search for the victim. Crews quickly located the victim in the fire apt and removed her to awaiting medics outside. Medics treated and transported the victim with smoke inhalation and burns in unknown condition. Companies were alerted to 37 High st for the reported smoke coming from the dwelling. Upon eng-09-2's arrival they had heavy smoke showing from a 2 stry mor dwelling. 09-9B initially had command then transferred CMD to 09-9A(Attix), Crews went in svc w/ 1" 3/4 handlines, while tower-05 assisted with search & rescue & ventilation. Crews made a fast knock on the bulk of fire and went in svc w/ overhaul. MVA w/ Entrapment, 4th & Lincoln ave, Prospect Park

Companies were disp'd to the area of 4th & lincoln in prospect for the reported mva w/ entrapment. Fireboard advised of numerous cars reporting vehicles overturned w/ victims still inside. Eng company 74 was disp'd to the 300 block of Bishop for the mva w/ a vehicle on fire and no reported injuries. Upon 74-2's arrival the crew went in svc w/ an 1" 3/4 handline & hand tools. Crews made quick work of the vehicle fire. Smoke Condition, Forman Mills, Darby Township

Comapnies 06 & 42 were originally dipatched to the area of Oak & Macdade Blvd for a smoke investigation. Fireboard was receiving numerous calls for smoke covering a large area of collingdale & darby township. 77-9 went on loc and req;d the BLDG assignment for Forman Mills after noticing the smoke condition was coming from the roof. Bldg Fire, @ Chinese takeout 5th & Main st, Darby Boro

Fireboard disp'd Darby & assisting companies to 520 Main st. @ the Chinese takeout rest. for the bldg fire advising of numerous calls. 04-2 arrived reporting heavy fire showing from the rear of a 2 stry store front w/ apartments above. Crews from 04 went in svc w/ 1" 3/4 waterline and made a very fast knock on the fire, crews from collingdale & Yeadon were also on scene assisting with truck work & overhaul. 1 victim was transported to DCMH for smoke inhalation.
