Upper Darby-11 Chief Shuster arrived reporting a working fire in the basement of a 2 story SFD. Crews stretched an 1-3/4 water line to the basement for a quick knock on the fire. Delco Medics were dispatched to Garrett & Lansdowne for the mva with injuries. They advised fireboard they had confirmed heavy entrapment of 1 subject. Rescue-20 & 26 were dispatched for the rescue assignment. The 2 rescue companies worked together for approx 29 minutes to extricate the driver of the vehicle. Companies got the dispatch for the bldg fire in the area of Marshall & Grace. P/D arrived reporting the rear of the home fully involved. Squrt-36 & Quint-37 arrived and went into service thru the front and to the roof. UD-11A requested the 2nd alarm. 2 Alarms, 232 East 22nd, Chester

Companies were dispatched for the working bldg fire. Arriving units found heavy smoke & fire from the rear of a 2 story twin. Crews were hampered on their initial attack due to numerous fireworks in the dwelling going off. Fire extended to the "B" exposure and eventually through the roof.
