- We explored the jungle of Serra da Bocaina near Paraty and enjoyed going down a natural waterslide created by Tobogã’s waterfall. Then we tasted cachaça at Engenho D’ouro distillery and had lunch at Fazenda Murycana.

| | - Costa Verde to Ubatuba - Atlantic Coast

- We traveled by car from Rio to São Paulo, and most of our way was along the coastline. In the state of Rio de Janeiro this coast line is called Costa Verde. We drove along this coats and spent two nights in Paraty (there are separate albums about this beautiful colonial town and nearby jungle). Paulista coast is in the state of Sao Paulo. In this region we stopped in the town of Ubatuba. The globe next to the album name shows the location of Saco de Mamangua, where we took the majority of pictures.

- Located 93km west of Curitiba, this park is known as the “Stone city.” In addition to fantastic sandstone formations, the park showcases a pretty lake and a couple of craters that are the result of underground erosion.
