- Ahhhh - what can I say lol! Can't believe the year's almost gone. Trimmed about a 1/2 inch to even everything out but nothing else new. Purely maintenance at this point.

- Haven't done much but left it alone. Occasionally wear it straight but I make these last probably longer than most folks would - about 2-3 weeks in a straightened style.
I've been doing more braid outs than anything. Nothing more than wash, condition, plait up. To maintain, every few day I'll dampen the hair about 4 inches from the ends (after taking it out the plaits) then apply a Pantene conditioner, get the hair really coated w/con. then allow to dry loose. The ends form really neat curls that way.

- First rollerset in a very, very long time. For anyone who's interested in what I used, here's the dirty details C&P'd from my post on LHCF:
I washed, conditioned and deep conditioned with combo of Pantene Frizzy to Smooth, and Elasta QP DPR11. List of all products used: diluted Lottabody, AfroSheen satin press, Silk Elements Mega Silk hair moisturizing creme and snap-on magnetic rollers of various sizes.
I just sprayed the lottabody, combed it through, applied endpapers and rolled the hair.
After I took them out, I used a tiny bit of the satin press to straighten the roots with the back end of a straightening comb then pincurled. I did not go down the length except on one or two chunks of hair that weren't completely dry when the rollers came down. I just pinned those out the way and let them air dry while I worked on the dry sections.
This was an all day affair from wash to finish. The last roller was placed around 10:30 and around 6 I took out one down only to find it still damp on the last 1/4 so sat under the dryer for 30-40 minutes.
This morning, I undid the curls, used a dab of Silk Elements and gentled used a wide tooth comb down the length.
Maintenance for however long this lasts, pincurl and secure with long, hair pins commonly used for rollersetting.
