- Today was my relax day.
I relaxed with Silk Elements, blow dried, and flat ironed. I was 7 weeks post and it felt like 7 months.
I had a few issues during this period. I tried something new; I was using ayurvedic powders and oils and I don't think my skin agreed with it. I was itching like crazy and my scalp became very sensitive. I can not pinpoint the exact problem because I was taking medication due to dental surgery. It could have been a reaction due to the combining of the two. I actually used the products for about 4 weeks. Other than that, no other growth aids were used during this period.
I am slippin. I forgot to take wet pictures. Sorry :( - Album was created 4 years 3 months ago and modified 4 years 3 months ago

- It's a New Year, Thank God for small favors. :)
I relaxed my hair today and this is at 7 weeks. I am getting married on the 18th so I wanted my relaxer to grow out some, but still be able to manage my hair. I hit my mark, and that was to be APL for the wedding. I am now focused on and pushing BSL, thickness, and health. - Album was created 4 years 5 months ago and modified 4 years 5 months ago

| | | - Dec 2007-First Roller Set
- (Dec 27, 2007)
- This is my first roller set. I bought a Ionic Soft Bonnet yesterday with some magnetic rollers and decided to try it out.
I used the gray and magenta rollers. The gray was used for the center and the magenta was used on the sides.
I made a mohawk and used 8 rollers down the center of my head. On the sides I made 2 more rows going down and used 3 rollers in each row. - Album was created 4 years 5 months ago and modified 4 years 5 months ago

- These are the most God awful pictures I have ever taken. I tried to edit them as far as color, but it didn't help much. I am still posting them so I will be able to keep track of my growth.
Note to self: Make sure batteries are charged before taking pics.
Relaxed hair, blow dried with heat protectant, and flat ironed.
This is the only heat I have used since my last relaxer other than deep conditioning sitting under the dryer.
I didn't baggy much this time, but I continued with the protective styles. I need to get my ends trimmed, but I don't have enough guts to do it myself and my bestfriend is not here in Tallahassee. I think I will have them trimmed by the next relaxer.
Sticking with
DC on dry hair Oil rinses protective styles most of the time relaxing every 6-8 weeks moisturize as needed (daily most of the time and I am still in search for the perfect one) shampoo once a week and co as needed
I need to find a method for detangling. The longer my hair gets the thicker it gets and the tangles are out of control. I was under the shower, so I need a good detangler. - Album was created 4 years 6 months ago and modified 4 years 6 months ago

- (Sep 28, 2007)
- Today I relaxed my hair. I relaxed and used some leave in conditioner NTM. I let my hair air dry half way then I wrapped it.
In the pictures my hair was still not completely dry. It was still a little damp. I just wanted to go ahead and take the pictures for the fotki. I did notice that I can get straight hair without using heat! Yes! My hair is getting thicker too.
Current regimen Shampoo and Deep Condition once a week. Relax every 8 weeks. Moisturize and baggy each night. I have been wearing protective styles daily. Now that I have relaxed my hair I will probably wear it down for a couple of weeks. That is depending on the weather.
Shampoo-SE moisturizing shampoo Conditioner-Protein (homemade Cathy Howse) follow up with SE moisturizing conditoner. Deep conditioning includes sitting under the dryer for 20 mins. Rinse and apply the moisturizing conditioner for about 15 mins. Rinse with cold water. Appy leave in and air dry.

| | | - Claudie's Growth Pomade
- (Aug 9, 2007)
- This evening I relaxed my hair. I did a quick blow dry and flat iron. This month I used Claudie's Growth Pomade and these are my results.
I really like this. The scent is pleasant and I don't have to worry about Mista (fiance) telling me my hair stinks and that I am messing up the pillows.
I decided to use the pomade because I am heavy handed with the elixir (liquid). I have much more control over the solid and it blends well.
I am sure your question is, will I order this product again,,,,,,,, YES! lol
You can contact Claudie on BHM by PM or http://members.fotki.com/HairRevitalizer/about/ this address should give you all the info you need.
Be Blessed.
