Thunder Bay Trip, June 30-July 4, 2004
Mom and I moved my Niece, her husband, two kids, a friend, three dogs, a cat, and a hamster, plus their furniture, to Thunder Bay.

Mom drove the family in the van, and I drove the U-Haul. 1503 km. Two days to go there, and we took 3 days to return.

Most of my photos are from the return trip.

Auto-zoom macro
I locked open the aperture mechanism in the lens with electrical tape and fiddled with the lens to keep it sort of in focus. I haven't yet figured out a way of managing to keep this hands-free. the lens is pretty heavy.

The first few photos were earlier, using a slide loupe but I have lost the extra lens for that and can't change the focus.
