- Regimen:
*Co-wash daily w/ Suave, Sunsilk, or V05
*Shampoo with ALS- and SLS-free shampoo once a month
*Homemade shealoe butter for moisturizing/styling
*Protective styling, including finger coils, comb coils, two-strands, box braids (maybe), etc.

- One full year ago I made the life-changing decision to let go of the relaxers and become fully napptural!! It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. The journey to this small milestone has not been an easy one, but it has been soooo worth it. I never imagined that I would be so incredibly happy with my nappy hair.
The ladies at NAPPTURALITY have been my saving grace, seriously! There is absolutely no way I could have done this without that site's existence, along with the grace of God.
This "hair thing" has really been deep for me, and I'm just so grateful to God for giving me something so unique and beautiful.

- Only TWO MORE MONTHS Until My Nappiversary!! That is so insane, I can't believe its almost been a year.
I also can't believe how much my hair has grown. Whoever said nappy hair don't grow needs to be shot. Because that is SUCH a lie!
I'm so in love with my hair. I'm learning more and more about it daily. Although I'm no style queen, I'm coming into my own. Hopefully I will take it upon myself to actually learn to do some other styling techniques. - I haven't really had a "regimen", per se, until now. I visited motowngirl.com and got a few recommendations. I'm going to give these ago until I can get some higher-quality products.
Then again, if these work well, no need in spending more than necessary. Anyway, this is an experiment. Please leave recommendations if you have any.
My hair stats:
***A mixture of textures Including very tiny coils (not un-patterned), larger coils, some curls and some relatively loose areas (yeah, I know)
***VERY dry. My hair seems to drink moisture, so it seems I have to add more product than I would like to be adding. This inturn leads to build-up, so I'm at least trying to minimize or completely omit cones.
***Thick strands and very dense
***Shrinkage is fo'real...like down to about 1/4 of actual length, which of course means tangles and knots because I HATE detangling.
