- So... I don't really like KCCC. It was a disappointment, coz I really wanted to like it, but it wasn't a surprise coz it seems to be either a hit or a miss with naturals.
I've tried it once before and thought I'd try to finish up the 8oz tub by trying it again.
I used it with the Knot Today underneath on both occassions. I shampooed and co washed with Herbal Essence, then rinsed out ALL the herbal essence and applied the knot today, which I left in (I really like the knot today btw).
Then I applied the KCCC - and this is what I don't like about it. As I apply it, it makes my strand feel like, squeaky clean. You know what I mean? When your hair feels stripped. That's how it makes my hair feel, and this is with the knot today underneath and me just having co-washed.
It feels dry and sqeaky to the point where I can't even rake the KCCC through. But then I apply more and it seems to help it have more slip.
And I LOVE the definition - it's a tad crunchy but not too bad at all. It will definitely loose the crunch after I sleep on it, But, IC Fantasia can define just as well to be honest.
So overall, I like the definition it gives, but the way it makes my hair feel as I'm applying it is a nono. I haven't heard others complain about this feeling when they're applying so Idk why it does that to my hair.
Also, it gives me more shrinkage.
