January & February 2009 Ok so I straightened my hair....it was cool for what it was. I cut about 2-2 1/2 inches off all over. I may have cut more than that off the crown area but oh well. The dh went balistic but It was much needed. My hair/ends feel sooo much better. I'm so not APL anymore but I'm cool with it though. After the cut I put in large twists. I'll post pics soon. The hair has kinda taken a back seat because I'm trying to finish my last semester @ MTSU. I graduate May of '09...Thank GOD!!! 15 hours and I'm D.O.N.E!!!!!!.... I've committed to 2 sessions of LHCF Bootcamp. That mean I'll have twists, twists, and more twists. Unless I have the patience to do more box braids. This will do it for my 3 full years being natural. I may add more pics before Anniversary date of April 19, but we'll see. Aug '08 thru Dec '08 Ok, so for the past couple of months, I've been doing, twists, twists, and more twists. I don't know what happened but I'm really digging the twists right now. I'm now officially armpit length but my shrinkage is like whoa! Gotta love it though. I'm in need of a trim. My girl Lavanda @ hair -5-o does a great job. I may get and inch or inch and a half taken off. The trim will but me back above apl, but hey, it's hair and it will grow back. My hair seems to be doing something different right now. My hair is extremely, extremely thick, but it seems to be getting thicker by the week. I know I said this in my last album but I didn't think it was possible for my hair to get any thicker. I'm not complaining, but for those of you who have seen my hair up close and personal know what I do not lack in this department, Check out my hair and thread comparison pic hence.. *** I've tweeked my routine and product application a little and I must say that I'm loving the results. I'm contemplating another set of box braids but don't know when I'll actually get around to doing them. I'm also thinking about a little color. Nothing drastic, maybe some streaks. I don't know yet. There's no telling what I'll do next!! **** I'm really excited, because my sister said she was going natural. I can't believe it!!! I'll probably pic some of her pic here in here own album until she is ready to start her own fotki!!**** *** It's cold outside!!! Looks like I'll keep my hair in protective styles until it warms up again. July '08 I've been MIA for a bit but I'm back now. The rest of April, as well as May and June were pretty much the same ole thing. My wash -n-gos. I haven't experimented with styles or anything. Although it doesn't seem like my hair is growing, which I know it is because my hair has it's growth spurt during the summer months, It's definitely getting thicker. (as if it wasn't thick already!!!) I've added 2 comparison pics for the month. Hopefully I'll have more before the end of the month.
