- Ok fotki fam I have been MIA for a while but I am back now. I have officially had my locs for 4 years. I am still in love with them. I have been blessed not to lose any and have only added the few I added in year 1 or 2 can't remember now and have combined a few. My locs are very low maintanence: I wash it when it feels dirty, style it rarely, and retighten it about every 3-4 months. I am still on my journey and still loving it and my daughter, the one who was stuck on creamy crack, has now gone natural, woohoo. My journey continues...

- This album will follow my fourth year of locing. I have been loced officially for three years. I began this journey 01-03-2007. It has been a wonderful journey. For those of you who have been with me from the start, offering words of inspiration, thank you. For those of you who are new to my albums, welcome. Well I have been on my journey for 3.5 years and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Nothing much new is happening I am still growing not taking as many pictutes as I did when this journey began but I am sure I will have many pics for you next month, vacation time. - Well I have officially had my locs for 2.5 years and the journey continues to amaze me. My family is continuing to loc and we are enjoying this amazing time together. I am continuing to latch my roots about every 5-6 weeks because if I don't it takes a very long time to latch. On the other hand other members of my family are choosing to get maintenance about every 2 months. Jhy is the hardest to get to sit still long enough for maintenance and his hair is growing the fastest. Shy's locs are continuing to grow and flourish. Cookie's locs are ever so thick and full and maintenance on them take a couple of days just because of the magnitude of hair. She is still not really into styling them she is content to just let them freestyle. Well that's the scoop on us, if you stop by leave a message in the guest book so I can return the favor or just stop by and browse. My journey continues....

I know my updates are coming few and far between but I will try to get better. These last few months have been an additional test of my patience, my locs are often doing exactly what they want to do and not always what I want them to do but I am continuing to enjoy the experience. Well fam this album is getting a little full so I will end it at 22 months and start a new one. This journey has been a great experience I have truly loved this time and this pat of my journey. I have learned about my own resilence and patience during this time. I am having some difficulty finding styles for my locs but have been able to try some different things which have been working out for me. I am thankful to those of you who have stopped by and given me words of encouragement throughout this journey and grateful to those of you whom have inspired me. I am humbled by those of you who say I have been an inspiration, you are welcome. I have also seen my family grow closer as we have continued on this journey together.
