Work it Out!!!
Yeah I know everyone is doing it but I gotta get it done too. I must must lose some weight.

I have never wanted to be extra tiny but I can't handle wear I am in life right now. I am 5'3 163 lbs. So you know what that means. Gotta get it done.

My plan
Eat more but healthier. I am very weird when it comes to eating. I love rich foods so I consume a lot of calories but not very much food at times. So I need to eat much more than I do but good things like veggies, fruits, beans and such. I am really working to eliminate things like cheese from my diet. I live off cheese and unfortunatly over 55% of my daily caloric intake comes from cheese. So I am changing that.

Workout- I think it is really important to factor in everyday activities we do such as cleaning, walking the dog, hitting the sheets with SO and so on these things burn calories and if we knew how much we probably do them more often. I had been wonderifg why I was not over 200 lbs a long time ago with my cheese and bread diet but it is because I burn so many calories playing with my dog, cleaning up after my dog and satisfying the dog within my husband LOL. Now that I am consistently taking dance classes (which seem to be the best way for me to get in shape) and not maintaining my carton of Feta cheese habit a day, the weight is falling off.

Monday- Cardio 30-45 min. and 20-30 mins Stregnth training
Tues- 60 min hip hop dance class and 60 min Belly Dancing Class.
Wed- 60- 75 min African Dance Class (Killer)
Thurs- 60 min KickBoxing Class or 30 min Cardio and 30 min strength training.
Friday-60min Spinning Class or hours of serious dancing in Da Club. LOL
Saturday- 2 Hour Bridal Bootcamp with a friend or 45 mins Cardio and 1hour of strength training. (Saturday is my dumbell day so it is a very tedious weightlifting day. I do 1 to 2 excersizes for each muscle group in my arms. Gotta get my Jada Pinket arms on.)
Sunday-A sister gets some rest but I usually take my dog for a long walk in the park.

Update 5/14/07-I am down 5 lbs. So that puts me at 158. I am very excited about that.
I joined the self 2007 challenge www.self.com and I am doing better than I expected. If you are trying to challenge yourself to get that body or weight you want, this may be a very good tool. They have calorie trackers for both your food intake and your workouts. It is really inspiring to see the amount of calories I have consume next to the number of calories I burned working out. This is absolutely wonderful. It motivates me to keep it up and that is all I need to do to get the body I used to have back quickly.

I just got up and decided to do it. I was 1 year post relaxer here but 10 months post that super red hair color from last year. So yeah I had to cut that out in my areas because it straightened my hair.

My hair is a foolish mess. I have neglected my hair and it has suffered greatly. Somewhere between the lack of DCing, the 10+months of newgrowth and the rough detangling, I have ripped my crown area to shreds.

I am figuring out what I will do with my hair in the coming months.

April-July
I have been away for quite a while but I am back and in full effect.

Back in April I cut about 3-4 inches of hair, which took me 2 inches above BSL. As of July, I am back there. For a slow grower like me that is kind of strange but I have had a little help. Baby Turnergirl, has wreaked havoc on my hair growing situation.

About Baby Turnergirl, she (I will say she for now) made her presence known in late April and has been hanging out since then. I am growing in every direction. It's simply amazing.

So I am blogging now. Nothing related to hair or makeup just me rambling on about being pregnant and other random things happening in my life. Check it out.
