- As a fundraiser for Middlesex United Way, Liberty Bank employees each contributed a small fee to wear their jeans and LIVE UNITED t-shirts to work. All of the bank's departments and branches participated in the one-day event. Thank you to Liberty Bank and its employees for Living United with such fun and spirit!

| | - 2008 Days of Caring

- Due to the dramatically increased demand for food, we focused our Day of Caring effort on food collections and hunger awareness. Eleven grocery stores in the county served as public drop-off points for food on Sept. 5th, while other local companies ran internal food drives. Other volunteer groups worked at soup kitchens and food pantreis. Overall, 165 volunteers from 42 companies were involved in the effort.

- For a full week, local volunteers took a step and donated their time and talent to help build a stronger community. Thanks to their efforts, a family is one step closer to a place they can call home and Middlesex United Way is one step closer to our vision of providing affordable housing for all working families and individuals.
