Via Diana
Via Diana is a side-street parallel to the Decumanus Maximus (Ostia's Main St.). We visited 3 awesome buildings: the Thermopolium (the local bar/tavern), the House of Diana, and the House of Jove and Ganymede. Medieval village
Just outside the ruins of the Roman city is the medieval village that was built in the 15th century around the castle. Several of the buildings on the wall are operated as a wonderful inn--Rodrigo de Vivar--which is where we stayed.
