- (These are from our last PHC fundraiser on Nov 12th we had a VERY successful event as : : 1)Calgary PHC raised $$$$$ and gathered many food items for Veterans food bank Leeann and Murray Parrott ( had approx 450 pounds of non -perishable food items loaded in back )(see photos) PLUS there were many other PHC team members with loaded trucks also - TOTAL = ???? ALOTT !!maybe 1000-2000 pounds ??? 2) we raised approx $3700 from silent auction for Meals On Wheels and PADS see photos) )

Hey PHC BBQ Team: Huge THANK YOU to our hosts Bev , Derrick, and rest of PHC "crew" who put on an excellent summer BBQ event [that] Saturday. Your hard work shows as you guys did a _great_ job as the event worked and ran like a well-oiled machine.
In addition, Having Chuck Rose play J.B. music was a real treat! Looks like everybody enjoyed themselves.

- Well the 16th Annual Spring Phling is now behind us. What a great night Saturday was. A phun time had by all. Thanks to Chuck and his staff at the Hose & Hound for providing the venue and closing it off for a Private Function. Thanks to all the staff for the great service. Thanks to everyone who helped at the Door, 50/50 tix, Silent Auction, decorating and the take down yesterday morning. We raised approximately $3500 which will be split evening between PADs Calgary (Pacific Assistance Dogs) and Meals on Wheels / School Soup Program. Thanks as well to Chuck, Joyce, Nick & Chris for providing the live music. You guys & gal sounded great.

Silent Auction, in support of PADS (Pacific Assistance DogS) Calgary;
Door Prizes; 50/50 Tickets; Dancing; etc.

- We returned to the North Ghost River Wilderness campground in 2010, and had lots of luck with the weather. Lots of fun, relaxing down by the river, with JB and a variety of other music playing. Mark P. had also pitched his old tent -- into the trash.

- Thank you again to Steve & Cathy for hosting a great BBQ/phlocking on a sunny Saturday. We had a great turnout with 27 people attending. We probably had the best day of summer that day and were able to sit outside till quite late. Thanks again for your hospitality Steve & Cathy, and thanks to all who came out.

- We participated again in Calgary's 43rd Annual River Clean-Up. Considering the previous days' weather; we were relatively lucky that Sunday. Due to our growing numbers, we were assigned a longer section of riverbank to clean. Afterwards, we went to the Hose-and-Hound Pub for cheeseburgers and boat drinks.
