The Cinnabun!
A new style I picked up from another blog and a youtuber called (you guessed it) the Cinnabun! Really easy to do, maintains overnight, protective, and with a little flower: oh so springy!

Overnight Stretching with Braids - March 2010
This is a braid out done on dry hair (although I've achieved similar results doing the same on wet hair). Because of my length, I took smallish sections, applied Afroveda butter to each and braided, leaving the ends loose to preserve teh curl pattern and secured with a bobby pin. Then went to bed.

Biked to work the next morning, of course wearing a scarf and helmet to protect my hair, brain and myself from being mistaken for Coolio.

Took out the braids when I got to work and fluffed. In the green pic, you can see how its gained a lot of fluff and what you cant see is that it also gained a lot of movement.

Then to style, i did sort of an angled flat twist/head band type thing using bobby pins. Have been getting compliments all day!!!

Twist Out - March 2010
So. I rarely do twist-outs because they generally take 2 hours to put into my hair due to my thickness. But as a result of a PJ overdose, I put them in for about a week. This is my twist-out...ready to go out on a Friday night!!
