- Finally an update! i have no routine. i retwist whenever the need. I went in for a little pampering and I left the salon 4 hours later!!! I never stayed that long even when b4 i was natural. She gave me a nice updo, but I still couldn't get over the 4 hours. Sorry I didn't take pics. Definitely next time!!

- updating this album is long past due! here i am at 2 years!!!!!
they are coming along beautifully w/o any interference from me. they vary in size and length. I have some that are flat on the ends, some curve to the left and to the right and i have a lot that are 2-headed. this is the glory of locs, none are alike or perfect!
at this point i have no definite routine except for washing & conditioning q 2wks and an acv rinse once per month. i also use a clarfying shampoo when i feel the need and i retwist when i want and nothing else. i am trying different styles. my favs are updos, braid-outs and roller sets. right now i have my locs in rollers for curls and i will add those pics in a day or 2.

- can't believe my locs are almost 18 mos old! i'm very pleased at the way them came out. i wanted them to be medium sized, but i did have to combine a few.

- i've decided to feature some ladies in my area who sport locs. They have helped me by answering my annoying questions about locs. Show these ladies some love! Their locs are simply BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

- WOW! i am 11th months! i know i'm missing some months, but when you go from DSL to dial-up, it. is. a. SHOCK! so now i'm back and ready for business.
one month from my locaversary. i keep my maintanence simple. i retwist once a month and i keep my locs moisturized w/ a spritz of almond oil, lemongrass eo, rosemary eo and distilled water or sometimes i just spritz w/ water. i wash 2x a month and depending on the temp, i rinse when i sweat. sweating has always been a problem even before i went natural. - Album was created 7 years 1 month ago and modified 6 years 10 months ago

- well, i made it! 6 mos (taking a bow) this has been an experience and i can't wait for the year mark! this feels so good. i'm getting better @ updating this album and it is very exciting to watch my progress w/ the pictures. as soon as i learn how to do a collage i will include that later.

- This is my 5th mon. album as of Feb. I was experimenting on taking my own pics. I finally got my daughter to snap them for me. I thought I took 4 mon pics, but I didn't, so that mon. is missing....memory is the first thing to go!
