- Here's how I wore my hair to work today. The picture doesn't really show how big it looked in person. And of course I got a bunch of crazy looks. But I loved it. I didn't really intend to wear it like that. I washed my hair last night and fell asleep without doing anything to it. So I put it in 5 big twists this morning while it was damp hoping I'd get a quick twistout...but they didn't dry. So I took the blow dryer and dried them about 95% while they were in the twists and then I separated with my fingers. This is at the end of the day when it shrunk up a little from the rain.

- When I got my hair straightened at the ethiopian salon I decided to try other styles as well. I bought a donut bun from the beauty supply store and made myself a cute bun! My edges aren't what they should be so I wasn't comfortable wearing my bun outside of the house.

- I went to the Ethiopian Salon. They rollerset my hair then flat ironed it. It looked really thin and limp. So when I got home, I trimmed it up a little. I had to make myself stop...the scissors are addictive. I will never allow that much heat on my hair again. I pray it fully reverts. But I will continue to go to get rollersets (with no flat-ironing) because I'll try to bun (and maybe do flexi rods) until I reach APL!!! It seems that I'll never get there

- I've been dying to try a straw set but the straws seemed too time consuming. So I decided to try the red flexirods. I hope to perfect this technique soon. I semi-liked how they turned out. But it was way better than I expected since I can't even rollerset to save my life.
I washed and condition with Aveda DR, put in a leave-in, then layered the Aveda phomollient then the Chi Silk infusion.
