- This is actually my Erin build for last year that I didn’t get finished in time so I carried it forward to this year. It is a Fiero road racer…

- This model was built as a tribute to a young lady, who lost her battle with leukemia on May 3, 2006. For the last few years, several members of a Yahoo group, I belong to, have built models in her honor. Her favorite color was purple, so the main color of our builds is purple.
I built this one as a 70's L.A. style lowrider. I shaved the door handles and emblems. This is my first nail polish paint job. While I'm not totally pleasesd with the results, I have learned from the experience and my next one will be better. I started with an AMT Fast and Furious 70 Monte Carlo. I had already raided the kit for it's engine and other parts, so it wasn't as easy build as I would have liked. I used the engin and trans came from a Revell 69 Camaro. The wheels and tires are from the parts box. Everything else is from the kit, with the exception of a scratch built steering wheel and shifter boot.

- For you, Erin.
AMT '65 Grand Prix, in the one-year-only shade of Iris Mist, with Parchment interior. Added 8-lugs and redline tires. Did the proper factory painting/fogging down under. No major detailing on this one, just a basic shelf build.
It's not actually finished, it's more like "Mj done", LOL... I still have to go back and fix some BMF, then scrounge up a door mirror, then I can put it on the ole shelf. No time right now as I've got a lot on my plate. So much, in fact, that I will not be able to make the Wild Modelers meeting tonight (Sorry 'bout that, Chris) that I always look forward to.
Of course, that means I also don't have time right now to look at the pics the rest of you guys have posted for this same cruise. I'll check em out one o these days, for sure. ALways look forward to see what we've come up with for Erin.
Take care, holleratchalater!

- Well here is my contribution to the memorial build. It is the Dodge D50 with the 3.5L motor from the Prowler kit. I wanted to change it up a little this year.
